Kathy Bond, award winning founder of Saskatoon Pilates, shares information in their latest article about the Pilates Teacher training offered by Saskatoon Pilates, and specifically why she has chosen to work with Core Dynamics.
Core Dynamics Pilates Teacher Training program places its focus on developing trainees to embody the Pilates method, understand human movement as well to teach the Pilates method correctly to a wide variety of clientele versus just teaching the exercises of leading classes. Core Dynamics offers a unique ‘boutique’ program based on historical Pilates, with small class sizes, individual attention, mentorship experiences and a select group of highly qualified educators and affiliates. Core Dynamics is the approach to Pilates teaching that was created by Eve Gentry and developed by Michele Larsson.
"I have now been teaching Pilates for 20 years and have worked with several “elders” in the Pilates world. Ron Fletcher, Kathy Grant, Mary Bowen, Lolita San Miguel and several of their protegees, plus second-generation teachers like Dianne Miller, Alan Herdman, Gillian Hessel, and Elizabeth Larkham. I did not personally work with Eve Gentry but was introduced to her work through Michele Larsson and this is the one that resonated most with me.
Eve was a professional dancer who worked with Joseph Pilates and with his guidance was able to fully recover from a radical mastectomy.
When Eve moved to Santa Fe, she started working with compromised bodies that were not able to do a full Pilates program and thus began the Fundamentals that we use as the basis for all of our clients and programs. I did try other teacher training programs, which were good, but none of them gave the same in-depth training that Core Dynamics gave." Kathy Bond, Owner Saskatoon Pilates
A History Of Excellence
In 2005 Saskatoon Pilates became a mentoring studio for Core Dynamics and trained 8 comprehensive teachers as an affiliate Since becoming the Canadian trainer, I have trained 4 comprehensive and 1 mat teacher, with 2 teachers ready to finalize their comprehensive certification. With the new Pilates designation of Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) through the Pilates Method Alliance, it becomes imperative that the quality of teacher training programs has national recognition. Core Dynamics has that! The team at Saskatoon Pilates are responsible for keeping our clients safe and that we are recognized as professional movement educators.

"This was an interesting test for Scott Roofing because of some strange circumstances which they handled very well. The roofing material loader (a 3rd party company - not Scott Roofing) - fell through my roof when delivering. Honest accident. They had a repair person there in minutes and properly fixed an entire side of the roof, actually adding value to my home. They let me know of the problem right away and did not try to hide it. There was no cost to me and they made sure I was happy with the work. "
"They finished the roofing just before a very powerful windstorm. I found a roofing nail on my deck not long after and wondered how many might be scattered on the lawn or neighbours lawn. Because the work happened while my family was on vacation, I didn’t want to mow my lawn, now very long due to vacation absence (ie shoot nails around) or have my kids play in the yard for fear of injury and therefore potential litigation. They agreed at no extra cost to come and do a second round of cleanup with a magnet. They did, and everything has been clear; my neighbours said they asked them if they could go over their yards too just in case."
"Scott Roofing’s quote came in 10-12% under 3 other companies that I contacted."
Reed Security believes when you become a client you will be entering into a relationship – one they want to grow and become long term...they work hard to meet all your Saskatoon Alarm & security needs from day one! Reed Security are Trusted Saskatoon Alarm and Security Experts.
Smart home security is a back-to-school essential for many working families with older children.
With an array of after-school safeguards for your kids, it delivers peace of mind throughout the school year and for years to come. Your kids can even grow into it as they become more independent.
Fewer keys mean fewer worries
As soon as your kids are old enough to arrive home on their own, Alarm.com starts making things easier with keyless smart locks and user codes for easy access.
Unlike keys, user codes can't be dropped, lost on the bus, or left in the door. If forgotten, its owner can ring the doorbell camera and you can unlock the door from work. Like a set of keys, however, your child's first user code can still confer a sense of responsibility that they'll love.
Technology makes check-ins less challenging
With every school year, your kids grow a little more independent. Meanwhile, you worry just as much as you ever did, and you need to know they're okay after school.
Your Alarm.com app is here to help, offering peace of mind via quick, visual check-ins. You can see a quick snapshot from any Image Sensor, view a live feed from your indoor or outdoor cameras, and even get front-door video clips of your kids arriving home.
If you prefer a hands-off approach, Alarm.com also offers a range of custom alerts for specific activity and events, such as the kids not arriving home on time, or even the video game cabinet being open for too long.
Smart reminders ensure that your house stays secure
As kids get older, they have more going on, which means they forget things. Unfortunately, this often includes securing the house when they're last to leave.
Alarm.com can help with actionable smartphone reminders. Once your teens have their own Alarm.com app, your house can remind them directly if a door isn't locked, or the garage is open, or the security system isn't armed when it should be. They'll be able to fix things quickly with a remote command.
As kids grow, Reed Security keeps up
We keep up with your family as tray grow. When it's time to add a new device like a doorbell camera or smart lock, Reed Security is on hand to help. We also deliver new features and updates digitally through the cloud, keeping your Alarm.com-powered home at the cutting edge of smart home technology.

Is Replacing A Furnace Difficult?
I get this question quite often and the answer is no not for industry professionals like J.O.B Heating and Air Conditioning. We specialize in replacing furnaces, air conditioners and water heaters. In fact, many times we replace the furnace, air conditioner and water heater all in the same day. Our process is simple, you ask us to come in and offer you a quote for replacement. I will come over to your home at no charge (within a 30KM radius of Saskatoon), I will view your old furnace and equipment. Look over the venting options and make sure that there are no unforeseen hiccups. Sometimes these hiccups do happen but when we see them ahead of the install date and plan for them then it becomes a seamless replacement.
You want to be wary of the company that will offer you an estimate over the phone or the contractors that don't spend any time looking at your equipment or the install. They will say that they are "bonded" and you have nothing to fear. This may not always be the case. To be bonded simply means that in order to get as gas licence we need to put up a $5000 bond. Yes, that’s all that's required $5000. This is why it is important to choose a contractor that would not only be licensed and bonded but would be part of professional groups such as the Sask Energy Network or Trusted Saskatoon.com. J.O.B Heating and Air Conditioning is very proud to be a part of both of these professional organizations.
Being part of Trusted Saskatoon.com means that Trusted has looked behind the curtain and found that we are a company with high moral values. We also agree to uphold the 5 Trusted guarantees. Being a Sask Energy Network member also requires a high level of professionalism and Trust. J.O.B Heating and Air Conditioning carry a $5 million dollar liability policy when most companies carry $2million. We proudly share our WCB letter of good standing and a copy of our insurance certificate with every quote we do.
